Cow Skull
Plains of San Agustin
New Mexico

Description:While hiking along the Continental Divide in central New Mexico, I came across this bleached skull on the barren and dusty 6,800’ high Plains of San Agustin. Reminding me of a Georgia O’Keefe painting, I thought the flat light and mud-cracked background complimented the morbid specter of the skull.
