Indian Paintbrush
Mount Rainier
National Park, WA

Description:Indian paintbrush (also called Owl’s Clover) is one of my most favorite alpine wildflowers, often found high on mountain slopes near timberline. Backed by green false hellbore leaves, these blossoms were a vivid magenta in the cool alpine air of Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington State.
