Grevy's Zebras, Samburu, Kenya

Description:Standing 5 feet at the shoulder, the Grevy's Zebra (Equus grevyi) is the largest member of the zebra family. These stallions patrol their territory and mark their boundaries with dung middens. Found only in northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia and Somalia, their loud brays sound like a wild ass.
