Puffin with flowers, Latrabjarg Cliffs, Iceland

Description:The Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) is the only puffin species which is found in the Atlantic Ocean. The characteristic bright orange bill plates grow before the breeding season and are shed after breeding. This photo was taken at the spectacular cliffs of Látrabjarg in the Westfjörðs of western Iceland which are considered one of the largest bird cliffs in the world.
