Shepherd children
Chimborazo
Ecuador

Description:While out walking around at 10,800’ along the base of 20,702’ Chimborazo, I crossed a muddy sheep pasture and attracted the attention of these young shepherds. Not used to seeing ‘Norte Americanos’, they were curious but shy. Leaving their sheep (and a pig on a leash) they approached me. A few words in Quechua and a look through my camera’s viewfinder gained their friendship.
