Jewelry Sellers
Jaisalmer, Rajasthan
India

Description:Located in the far western part of India’s sandy Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is a 12th century cliff-top Rajput fortress that looks like something out of the Tales of the Arabian Knights. The golden-yellow sandstone walls glow in the setting sun and have given the city the nickname the “Golden City”. Next to the massive front gates of the fort these two friendly-but-aggressive jewelry sellers were pestering me. Not wanting to buy, I told them that if they agreed to leave me alone, I would take their picture. As you can see, they happily agreed.
