Description:Bathed in cool coastal fog, these redwoods (sequoia sempervirens) tower over 300 feet above the sword ferns in northern California’s Redwood National Park. Fog provides a significant amount of moisture for the world’s tallest trees, growing to heights of 367’ and living up to 2,000 years.
